Transmission Line Restoration [872]

* Qualified Operator [802] is a prerequisite for this course.
This course is designed to provide qualified Integrated Transmission System (ITS) operators with additional skills to perform emergency restoration functions. It provides hands-on experience in Transmission Line grounding. The training defines the purpose and operations of a Transmission Line and provides an explanation of responsibilities during restoration. This program provides participants with the basic knowledge of how to safely perform normal operating duties and restore power on transmission lines after a fault, following the Electrical System Operating Procedures. Both individual safety and Transmission Line safety are emphasized throughout the program.
 
Transmission Line Restoration Re-Qualification [873]

* Qualified Operator [802] and Transmission Line Restoration [872] are prerequisites for this course. This course is designed to review emergency restoration procedures, update students on new equipment and practices, and re-qualify individuals with current grounding authority. It provides hands-on experience in Transmission Line grounding. The training defines the purpose and operations of a Transmission Line and provides an explanation of responsibilities during restoration. This program provides participants with the basic knowledge of how to safely perform normal operating duties and restore power on transmission lines after a fault, following the Electrical System Operating Procedures. Both individual safety and Transmission Line safety are emphasized throughout the program.
 
Substation Restoration [892]
